BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir held a meeting with BNP's nomination candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Sylhet division. Around 80 party candidates from 19 parliamentary constituencies in four districts of the division were present at the meeting held at the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office from 3 pm to 6 pm on Sunday.

Confirming the meeting, BNP Central Committee Joint Organizing Secretary Miftah Siddiqui told Prothom Alo that the party has not yet finalized any single candidate. Calling the nomination candidates, the Secretary General gave this message that whoever gets the nomination of the paddy sheaf, everyone must work unitedly. There can be no division of any kind.
